The 1980's



Again, there is not a massive difference in design from the 1970s to the 1980s. There are some experimental posters like Scarface (with the black and white split and its layout of some elements), but they still follow the same trend of tagline or title on top and credits in the bottom. Only one text element is prominent than the other; for example, the “Back to the Future” title and the “Thing” or Al Pacino’s name in Scarface. Also, one character, either the main protagonist or the villain, is in the center in each poster.
