The 1940s continues the golden age of films and the trend of the 1930s. The characters of the films are still prominent in the posters; Abbot and Costello  chased by the monsters in “Meet Frankenstein” and Bogart in “Casablanca.” The text, however, is much more subdued than the decade before. They’re not as bold as they were in the 1930s.
